The Government of Ghana, Ministry of Finance has given the Ministry of Health (MOH) clearance for the recruitment of Degree and Diploma nurses, 2022. Applicants will access the MOH Nurses Recruitment Portal and login to apply.

The Hon. Minister for Health is hereby granted financial clearance to enable the ministry to recruit eleven thousand, two hundred and twenty-six (11,226) Degree and Diploma Nurse who have completed their one-year mandatory rotation and are due for permanent employment.
Ministry of Health (MOH) recruitment of 11, 226 Degree and Diploma Nurses is set to begins. When you add that to the 109, 141 already recruited since 2017, the Government would have recruited 120, 367 health professionals excluding the recruitment into Ghana Ambulance Service.
The emoluments of the Degree and Diploma Nurses should be charged against the compensation of Employees vote of the Ministry of Health in the 2021 Annual Estimates. The Ministry of Health (MOH) is to ensure that the Degree and Diploma Nurse has the document processed in time and placed on the Mechanized Payroll early enough to enable the Accountant-General’s Department to effect payment of their salaries.
The effective date of the appointment for Degree and Diploma Nurses should not be early as December 1, 2021.
By a copy of this letter, the Controller and Accountant-Genera Department are requested to effect payment of their salaries and make appropriate deductions of Social Security and Income to SSNIT and the Domestic Tax Division of Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) respectively.
Deadline
According to the Ministry, the financial clearance expires at the end of December 31, 2022, cannot be used thereafter.
