GES Complete 2022/2023 Academic Year
The full calendar for the 2022 Academic Year for pre-tertiary public schools will be made available at various media platforms, MOE/GES websites, and other social media handles.
GES is running the final draft by heads of schools and other stakeholders for their input. Since the government has included the TVET schools in the Free SHS policy, it is necessary for the team working on the academic calendar to reconcile and have a workable calendar that will take into consideration TVET schools.
The new GES calendar will ensure that it takes into consideration the lost time as a result of Covid-19 so that students can catch up. The Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has stated that the complete 2022/2023 academic calendar will be out soon.
The new GES Academic Calendar caters for SHS 1, SHS 2, SHS 3 in both Gold, Green, Singletrack schools and goes beyond 2023, 2024. Download GES Academic Calendar PDF 2022/2023.
