University of Media, Arts and Communication, UNIMAC Admission Requirements

SSSCE Holders

Applicants must possess passes (A – D) in six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects, including English, Mathematics and three (3) elective subjects.  Applicants to the BA Translation programme should have French as part of their electives.

WASSCE Holders

  • Applicants must possess passes(A1-C6) in six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects, including English, Mathematics and three (3) elective subjects. Applicants to the BA Translation programme should have French as part of their electives.
  • Final year WASSCE candidates are eligible to apply as awaiting results applicants. Applicants are however to upload their WASSCE results upon release by the West African Examination Council.

GCE Advanced Level Holders

Applicants must possess a General Certificate of Examinations (GCE) ‘A’ Level Grade E or better in three (3) subjects, at least, one of which should be Grade D or better Credit passes i.e., Grade 6 or better in five (5) GCE Ordinary Level (‘O” Level) subjects including English, Mathematics and a Science subject, for non-science students.

Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE)

Passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better). Also, the applicant must have had credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, or Social Studies in the General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE). Applicants may be admitted to level 200.

Diploma Holders

Diploma holders with a CGPA of 1.79 and below can apply to be admitted to level 200.

How to Login UNIMAC Application Portal

  1. Access the University of Media, Arts and Communication, UNIMAC Application Portal
  2. Type in your serial number and PIN code
  3. Click on the ‘Login’ button to proceed
  4. Follow the application instructions to complete the process
  5. Once the process has been completed, the applicant must print out a copy of the completed application form together with one passport photograph and supporting documents to the university.

Note: An applicant must pay the relevant application fee at any Prudential Bank branch by providing name and telephone number or using any of the following electronic options: mobile money (all network), visa and MasterCard via app.ropaygh.
