The Ghana Scholarships Secretariat respectfully writes to inform you that, the Nationwide District scholarship selection and shortlisted applicants interview for the 2021/2022 academic year commences on Monday, 23rd August 2021 in all the 260 MMDAs in Ghana.

Ghana Scholarships Secretariat Shortlisted Applicants
All applicants who have completed an online aptitude test were shortlisted, and Ghana Scholarships Secretariat has sent an SMS to all shortlisted applicants to attend an interview in their respective district assemblies.
As the practice has been, sitting MPs are expected to be part of the selection interviews in their respective assemblies to assist in interviewing and making recommendations on qualified applicants for consideration of the scholarship award.
Interview Committee
For the avoidance of doubt, the district level Scholarship Review Committee is comprised as follows:
- The MMDCE
- A representative from the Traditional Authority in the District
- A District Education Director/ Representative from a Tertiary Institution in the District
- The sitting MP in the District
- 2 representatives from the Scholarships Secretariat
The Scholarships Secretariat is liaising with the MMDAs for the scheduled interview dates as well as the list of applicants expected to be interviewed and the Assemblies would communicate this to all Panel Members.
