For appointment to CHIEF PRINCIPAL (REGULAR SECONDARY SCHOOL) T-SCALE 15 grade, a teacher must:

  • Have served as Senior Principal T-Scale 14 for a minimum period of three (3) years;
  • Have a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal and performance contracting process;
  • Have demonstrated the ability to supervise, mentor, and provide professional support to other teachers;
  • Meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and
  • Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

NB: – Candidates in Asal and Hard-to-staff counties who have served in the current grade for at least 2 years are eligible.
