Local Government Service (LGS) calls for job applications. The management of the service has announced the recruitment of Junior Staff.
LGS Recruitment
As part of deepening administrative decentralization, increase autonomy and efficiency of the Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs) and Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs), the Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) has secured financial clearance to recruit Cleaners, Secretaries, Security Officers, and Drivers. Parks and Garden Officers.
Local Government Service (LGS) released the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Batch of postings.
Each Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) and Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assembly (MMDA) is to recruit five (5) officers in total consisting of the above-mentioned category of staff.
Consequently, MMDAs are to submit the list of their recruits to the RCC for onward submission to OHLGS using the format below for further action by Monday 28th February 2022.

- BECE
- SHS
NB: The category of staff does not include HND/Degree holders.
