GCUC Admission Requirement

Applicants must have any of the following qualifications:

Credit Passes (i.e. A/A1 – D/C4 – C6) in Six(6) SSCE/WASSCE/GBCE subjects including 3 Core subjects: English, Mathematics and Integrated Science and 3 Elective subjects with at least an aggregate of 24 or 36 for SSSCE and WASSCE respectively or better.
Five (5) Ordinary Level Credit Passes including English and Mathematics or plus at least Three (3) ‘A’ Level/ABCE passes.
HND qualifications with options in relevant areas of specialization are also eligible for Top-Up programmes.
Applicants seeking admission to BSc. Computer Science Programme must in addition to the above qualification have a credit pass in in Elective Mathematics. Applicants with other equivalent or professional qualifications would be considered after assessment of the relevant qualifications and placed appropriately.
RSA, SRN, RGN, RGM ‘A’ Level Holders and those with other equivalent qualifications plus basic SSCE/WASSCE/’O’ Level Qualifications will be placed at levels 200 and 300 for a three & two-year Top-Up programme.
For Mature Candidates to apply for admission, an applicant must have the following:
Must be 25 years at the time of application
Must have passes in English and Mathematics in SSSCE/WASSCE
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of work experience
Must pass a GCUC Mature Student Entry Examinations.
Candidates with Home Science, General Science, and General Art and General Agricultural backgrounds are also eligible for BSc. Nursing/Midwifery
Diploma (Nursing/Midwifery)/ SRN/RGN/RM Holders are eligible for Top-Up programmes

GCUC Online Application Procedure

A. Buy an e-voucher for our Application Form by clicking on Buy Application Form on the login page.

B. Visit any Ecobank Branch in your vicinity and buy an e-voucher for GCUC Application Form. (Successful purchase will generate an sms alert to the mobile number used for the form purchase)

If you chose A, you will be taken to a receipt printing page showing your e-voucher details. Just click on Print Receipt.

If you used your phone for A, you can save the receipt in PDF format to your phone and print it later.

If you chose B, the bank teller will give you a receipt showing your e-voucher details.

Get digital images of your Passport photo, Examination Result Slip, Birth Certificate and Signature ready. (All images should be in jpg, jpeg, or png of size not more than 80kb memory size)
Use the given e-voucher login details (Username and Password) to login to the Applicant Portal
Upon successful login, you will be given a dashboard showing your form purchase details with two Status labels at the top; Application Form (Red) and Admission Process Status (Blue).
Click on the Continue Filling on the Application Form label and fill in your Application form details
Click next when you are done with the required details for each page.
When you are almost through with the required details, you will see a button at the top of the form-filling page for submission of the application form.
Don’t submit until you have previewed your details by clicking on Print Form.
If you are satisfied with the previewed details, you may submit your form by clicking on submit
