Eligibility

1. Only applicants who apply through JAMB for UTME admission and choose the University of Benin as their first choice and score 160 or more are eligible for this screening.
2. All applicants who have made the University of Calabar their first choice and have received a score of 160 or above in the recent UTME are eligible for post-UTME screening.

How to Apply for the UNICAL Post-UTME Form

Follow this comprehensive step to apply for the Post UTME Screening Registration Form at the University of Calabar.

1. E-transact option:
   • This option is available in all commercial banks nationwide.
   • At the bank, you are required to pay and obtain an E-transact PIN.
   • With the PIN, log into the portal www.myunical.edu.ng and tap on the UTME Admission Screening link, then follow the instructions on the portal after login.
2. Buy Post-UTME Pin Online option:
   • This option gives access to purchase a Post-UTME pin from the portal.
3. Tap on Buy Post-UTME Pin Online to purchase the Post-UTME pin online.
4. Log in with the TRANSACTION ID as the PIN into the portal.
5. Scratch Card Option:
   • This option is available in the following banks within Calabar Metropolis ONLY:
     • UNICAL Microfinance Bank
     • WEMA Bank
     • First City Monument Bank
     • Heritage Bank

On obtaining the scratch card, proceed as follows:

1. LOG ON TO www.myunical.edu.ng and Tap on the UTME Admission Screening link
2. On the home page, enter your correct JAMB Registration Number in the box provided
3. Enter the scratch card pin in the box provided
4. Tap on login and follow the online instructions.
5. Confirm your entries and Tap ON SUBMIT
6. Print out the completed form.

IT MUST BE FURTHER NOTED THAT:

1. Impersonation is a serious offense, and anyone caught will be handed over to Law Enforcement Agents and may be liable to up to 5 years imprisonment
2. Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise automatically loses his or her chance of being considered for admission.
3. Early commencement of registration is advised to avoid congestion in the dying hours.
4. Candidates are advised to check the Portal for their venue and time of the CBT. Candidates are strictly advised to ensure their correct phone numbers are provided while filling out the form online, as the University will communicate with them directly.
5. Candidates are required to come with their original UTME result slips showing the candidate’s photograph;
6. The Post UTME exercise is Computer Based Test (CBT)
7. Special candidates with any form of disability should be indicated during registration.
