How to Apply at Tech-U Ibadan
Admission is open to all, irrespective of race, tribe, religion, sex or political leanings. Candidates are admitted into the degree programmes in any of the following three ways:
UTME Entry Mode
In addition to acceptable passes in UTME, candidates must obtain credit level passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) final year examination (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) ‘0’ Level in at least five subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Physics and Chemistry. In addition to the general admission requirements stated above, a candidate must meet specific programme requirements
Direct Entry Mode
For Direct Entry to programmes in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, candidates must have passed Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at GCE ‘A’ level or equivalent. Holders of OND and HND at a minimum of upper credit level are eligible for consideration for admission into 200- and 300- levels respectively. For the programmes in the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, candidates must have passes (Graded A-E) at the GCE Advanced Level in at least two relevant subjects.
Inter-University Transfer mode
Students can get transferred into 200-Level courses provided they have the relevant qualifications. The Faculty is to satisfy itself that the grades obtained by such candidates are acceptable.

- Locate and place your mouse cursor on Portal.
- You get a drop-down menu list and you click on Admission Portal.
- Locate and click on Signup
- Start Online Application
- Enter the required information and click on Register Button to Proceed
Steps to Tech-U Admission Application
- Apply for a change of institution on the JAMB website to make First Technical University your first choice.
- Register Or Create an Account.
- Login to your account using your registered login details
- Upload all your Credentials.
- Proceed to make payment for your admission application using Remita
How to Login Tech-U Ibadan Admission Portal

- Locate and place your mouse cursor on Portal.
- You get a drop-down menu list and you click on Admission Portal.
- Start Online Application Login
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and your password.
- Click on sign in Button and Proceed

- Your Username is your UTME Registration Number eg 202212345678AB
- Your Password is your Surname (All in Lowercase)
- Login to your account using your registered login details
