Degree Requirements:

• UCE & UACE certificate with at least two principal passes, OR
• Diploma from a recognized institution of Higher learning, OR
• A pass in mature age examination

Diploma Requirements:

• UCE certificate & UACE certificate with one principal pass with two subsidiaries OR
• Certificate from a recognized institution of higher learning

International Applicant Requirements

• All International applicants must submit their individual academic documents/results to Uganda National Examination Board( UNEB), Uganda Business and Technical Examination Board (UBTEB), or Uganda Nursing and Midwives Examination Board (UNMEB)  for verification and equating to meet the minimum requirements for qualification to diploma or degree programmes.
• Certificates from non–English speaking countries must be taken to Makerere University Institute of Languages for translation before equating commences.

Application Requirements

• Photocopies of academic documents(Certificates, result slips)
• Photocopy of valid ID for a former school or National ID
• Two passport-size photo

How to Apply for the Livingstone International University

Here are the steps on how to apply via the admission Portal to become a student of the Livingstone International University

1. Explore the LIU Admission Portal via livingstone.ac.ug/apply
2. Enter your Name, Gender, and Nationality
3. Provide your ID Number (If Ugandan), PASSPORT NUMBER (If Non-Ugandan)
4. Enter your Country of Residence and District of Residence
5. Enter your Date of Birth
6. Select your Marital Status (Yes/No), Number of Children (If any), and Religious Affiliation
7. Confirm if you have any physical Disability and If yes, state the nature of the Disability.
8. Provide your Telephone 
9. Provide your Email Address
10. Enter your Next of Kin (Name)
11. Fill in the Phone Number and Email
12. Select your Preferred Programme (Degree, Diploma, and Certificate)
13. Enter Academic Year
14. Select the First Choice of Courses and Second Choice of Courses (Attach a scanned copy of the UCE Certificate or equivalent)
15. Enter School Name, Index Number, and Year of Examination
16. Fill in the Number of Distinctions, Number of Credits, and Number of Passes (Attach a scanned copy of the UACE Certificate or equivalent), and other Other relevant qualifications
17. Select Programmes Schedule (Day/Evening)
18. Select Residency (Resident Student/Non-Resident Student)
19. Enter Any 2 Digits 
20. Tap on Submit Button to Proceed

NB:

• An Applicant is to pay an application fee of (50,000 for a Degree, 30,000 for a Diploma, and 20,000 for a Certificate Programme(s) ) in Stanbic Bank. A/C Name: Livingstone International University A/C No: 9030010628945
• Candidates selected for any programme of study will be required to present the originals of certificates at the time of registration.
