GCIHS is a Ghanaian non-profit, co-educational fully-boarding school. The courses are below;
Junior School
In the Junior School, we follow the Ghana JHS curriculum combined with the Cambridge curriculum in Years 7-9 (JHS 1-3 equivalent). Please note that GCIHS does not write BECE and students are unprepared for it.

Senior School
In the Senior School, students can join either the Cambridge Stream or the WASSCE Stream but not both.
Cambridge Stream – 4 years:
Cambridge Assessment International Education/CAIE GCE Ordinary Level (O-Level) (Arts & Science) in Years 10 and 11. Cambridge Assessment International Education /CAIE GCE Advanced Level (A-Level) (Arts & Science) in Years 12 and 13.
WASSCE Stream – 3 years:
West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination /WASSCE (Arts, Business & Science) in Years 10, 11 and 12.

- You can save a draft of your submission and edit the submission up to the application deadline.

- Explore the Ghana Christian International High School, GCIHS main website.
- locate and tap on ‘Admissions’ for a drop-down menu list
- from the drop-down menu list, locate and click on ‘Admission Portal’ to proceed
- type in your password to view and fill out the form
GCIHS Senior School Admission Eligibility
- Prospective students should have completed nine (9) years of basic education in any system. Senior School starts from Year 10/SHS 1/Form 4.
- Obtain application forms, complete with required attachments, and return them by the given date.
- Take an entrance examination based on the JHS syllabus and obtain passes in all three (3) subjects i.e. Mathematics, Science, and English.
- Accept the admission offer by paying a non-refundable admission fee. Students who obtain a place eventually will still have to lodge copies of certificates obtained e.g. BECE result slip, Junior High School Diploma, etc. Students apply for the GCE Advanced Level course with their GCE Ordinary Level / IGCSE results.
GCIHS Junior School Admission Eligibility
- Prospective students should have completed six (6) years of primary education in any system. Junior School starts from Year 7/JHS 1/Form
- Obtain application forms, complete with required attachments, and return them by the given date.
- Take an entrance examination based on the Primary school syllabus and obtain passes in both Mathematics and English. The entrance examinations for years 8 and 9 will cover Mathematics, English and Science.
- Accept the admission offer by paying a non-refundable admission fee.
