This includes how to contact support services such as Ask for Help and links to Northumbria University Blackboard, the Library, email, your timetable, print balance, finance information, enrolment, attendance, personal information, Student Union representatives, the latest student news and much more.

Northumbria University Blackboard and Portal can be used to find information on a 24 x 7 basis. There are hundreds of self-help articles that you can search by topic or submit a free text search.

Access Northumbria University Student Portal

  1. Explore the Northumbria University main website.
  2. Tap study on the top menu bar list for the drop-down menu list
  3. Locate and click on a new student to proceed
  4. At the top left of the new webpage, locate and click on Student Portal to proceed

How to login Northumbria University Student Portal

  1. Access Northumbria University Student Portal Page
  2. Type in your Northumbria username and password
  3. Click on the “Sign in” button to proceed

How to Reset Northumbria University Student Portal Password

  1. Access Northumbria University Student Portal Page
  2. Locate and click on the “Forgot password?” to proceed
  3. On the next page, you give options to choose for password reset
  4. “Yes I have registered/ No I haven’t registered”
  5. Select “Yes I have registered” for drop-down forms to fill
  6. Type in your Northumbria Username and your personal pin (the PIN number you provided when you registered for the password reset service. It will be a 6-digit number.)
  7. Click on the “Send authorisation code” button to proceed
  8. If your username and PIN match our records, you’ll receive a text with your authorisation code to the mobile phone registered with the account
  9. Type in your authorisation code
  10. Click on the “Submit” button to proceed
