Eligibility

Candidates must choose KWASU as their most preferred institution and have a minimum cut-off mark of 140 in UTME subject combination respectively conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB); and Candidates must have five (5) Credits, including English Language and Mathematics in WAEC/NECO at not more than two (2) sittings.

Method of application

Candidates are to visit the JAMB Portal www.jamb.gov.ng to change their University of choice and Programme of studies to Kwara State University, KWASU.

In addition, all candidates are to ensure that they upload their ‘O’ Level results with at least five (5) Credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings and UTME results on the JAMB website and Kwara State University, KWASU Portal portal.kwasu.edu.ng/index.php; and Candidates are to pay an amount of money for Post UTME Screening exercise through the University Portal.

The application process for entry into the programmes offered by the university is relatively similar across all departments and faculties. This seamless and simplified process is geared towards ensuring that applicants are comfortable regardless of the level of their computing literacy.

How to Register KWASU Admission Portal

1. Access the KWASU student Portal via portal.kwasu.edu.ng/index.php
2. Locate and click on “Click here to Apply” to proceed
3. Click the Undergraduate link at the top menu bar
4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Click on “Continue”
5. Complete the basic information page (Please note: Enter only valid phone number and email address and click next.
6. On the payment review page, click on “Make Payment” and this will take you to the payment page where you can provide your card detail.
7. Enter your ATM card (MasterCard, Visa or Verve) number and other details as appropriate and submit
8. Enter the “OTP code” sent to your phone and click continues to complete your payment.

1. Access the KWASU student Portal via portal.kwasu.edu.ng/index.php
2. Enter the Application Number/Registration Number/Matriculation Number and Password
3. Click on the Login button to proceed

How to Reset KWASU Admission Portal Password

1. Access the KWASU student Portal via portal.kwasu.edu.ng/index.php
2. Locate and click on the recover button to proceed
3. Enter your Login ID and Email address
4. Click on the Recover Password button to proceed
