The Federal University of Technology Owerri, FUTO Post-UTME/DE Screening Exercise is for candidates who chose the Federal University of Technology, Owerri as the First Choice University in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) for admission. Federal University of Technology Owerri, FUTO Post-UTME/DE
Candidates applying for the UTME must achieve a minimum score of 160 in their UTME exam. For Direct Entry candidates, they must possess an OND, HND, First Degree, or A‘Level qualification in relevant disciplines and subjects.
Applicants who did not select FUTO as their first choice university but have achieved a minimum score of 160 are eligible to apply, provided they visit the JAMB website to request a change of institution.
FUTO Post-UTME/DE Screening Mode of Payment and Registration Procedure
Eligible candidates would be required to pay a said amount of money. Follow the steps below for registration
- Visit the Federal University of Technology Owerri, FUTO main website.
- Click on “Prospective Students”
- Click on “Undergraduate”
- Click on the “current year POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application”.
- Type in your JAMB Registration Number
- Click on the submit button to generate a Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
- Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card.
- Return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number again
- Correctly enter your O’Level results.
- Confirm your entries.
- Submit your application.
- Print out your acknowledgment slip.
- Await further communication from the University
Candidates who complete the registration process mentioned above will have the opportunity to access a link. This link will enable them to upload their O’Level credentials for screening.
Requirements for FUTO Screening Exercise
The post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise relies on confirmed JAMB scores and WAEC/GCE/NECO results submission through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
- In order to proceed with further communications, it is essential to provide a valid mobile number and email address.
- You are required to submit your O’Level results on the JAMB PORTAL within a specified time period.
- Failure to register within the specified timeframe will result in disqualification from the Exercise.
- ONLY candidates who successfully submit applications online will be considered for admission.
