Zambia National Service (ZNS) does not charge any citizen wishing to join the military wing because it is every Zambian’s right to apply for employment with ZNS.
The acceptable mode of application for the ongoing Zambia National Service Recruitment is a handwritten application letter attached with the required documents. There is no online application form. Direct Entrants Recruits ( Regular Soldiers)
- Must be Zambian and possess a Green National Registration Card.
- Must have At least six (06) credits at Grade 12 level or its equivalent which should include English, Mathematics, Science, and any other science subject.
- Grade 12 full certificate must be by the Examination Council of Zambia (ECZ)
- Should be between 18 and 25 years of Age.
- Must have a minimum height of 1.6 meters for males and 1.57 meters for females.
- Must be single without Children
- Must have no criminal right record
- Must be willing to undergo military training
- Must be Physically, medically, and mentally fit.
Tradesmen/Women
- Must be Zambian and possess a Green National Registration Card.
- Must have At least six (06) credits at Grade 12 level or its equivalent which should include English, Mathematics, Science, and any other science subject.
- Grade 12 full certificate must be by the Examination Council of Zambia (ECZ).
- Should be between 18 and 34 years of Age
- must have a minimum height of 1.6 meters for males and 1.57 meters for females.
- Must be single without Children
- Must have no criminal right record
- Must be willing to undergo military training
- Must be Physically, medically, and mentally fit.
- Must have a Diploma, Craft Certificate, or equivalent.
