Eligibility

Candidates must choose YSU as their most preferred institution and have a minimum cut-off mark of 160 in the UTME subject combination respectively conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Candidates must have five (5) Credits, including English Language and Mathematics in WAEC/NECO at not more than two (2) sittings.

Method of application

Candidates are to visit the JAMB Portal www.jamb.gov.ng to change their University of choice and Programme of studies to Yobe State University, YSU.

In addition, all candidates are to ensure that they upload their ‘O’ Level results with at least five (5) Credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings and UTME results on the JAMB website Yobe State University, YSU Portal www.ysu.edu.ng/smis/putme21/login.php; and Candidates are to pay an amount of money for Post UTME Screening exercise through the University Portal.

3. Enter your JAMB Number, Phone Number, and Email Address
4. Click on the “Create User” button to proceed

2. Enter your JAMB Number and RRR Code
3. Click on the “Login” button to proceed

Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) is a 12-digit code

that is generated electronically on this Portal and it is the only

code for making application processing fee payments.
