YEA Opens Applications for Prisons Office Assistants to Combat Unemployment
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has announced the recruitment of personnel under the Prisons Office Assistants (POAs) module. This initiative, conducted in partnership with the Ghana Prisons Service, is part of the Youth in Community Service and Security program. The recruitment drive aligns with YEA’s mandate under Act 2015 (Act 887), which focuses on providing employment opportunities for the youth.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be aged 18-35 years.
- Hold a minimum of Senior High School education.
- Priority will be given to those with NVTI certification or artisanal skills.
Conditions of Application
Successful applicants will be engaged as beneficiaries of YEA under a two-year contract.
