UTAMU Admission Requirement

An applicant will be admitted upon fulfilling the following basic requirements:

Academic achievement,
Good character,
Financial support,
The University reserves the final decision on matters of admission, retention, and withdrawal.
A candidate admitted to a degree program, diploma, or certificate in any School shall comply with conditions and meet the guidelines set in the University’s admission policy.
The admissions committee has the right to admit or refuse admission of any applicant.
Registered students in another higher education institution in the Republic of Uganda or any recognized institution of learning who desire to be admitted to the University should apply for credit transfer through the academic registrar’s office.

Here are the steps on how to apply via the admission Portal to become a student of the Uganda Technology and Management University

Explore the UTAMU Admission Portal via utamu.ac.ug/admissions
Select your Preferred Category of Application (Advanced Level Certificate, Diploma, and Other Specify)
Enter your Nationality
Select your Intake (January, May, and September)
Confirm if you have been previously enrolled at UTAMU
Confirm your Gender (Male/Female)
Fill in your Name
Provide your Date of Birth
Enter your Telephone Number and Email Address
Enter your Alternative Contact Details (Name, Telephone Number, Email, and Relationship with Alternative Number)
Confirm if having any Disability. (Yes/No)
Select Choice of Degree Programme
Upload Document (Attach copies of your academic documents, and Attach a valid National ID or Passport)
