Access University of Toronto – UofT Email via the U of T Webmail Portal and login with your credentials. Once you create and activate your UTmail+ account, it will replace the current email address you have in the U of T record system, and all new university communications will automatically be sent to your new U of T email address.

How to Activate your UTORid
Your UTORid and password give you access to online services like Uoft webmail, UofT ACORN, portal, libraries, campus wireless network, and others, and it’s the same as your JOINid, which you’ve received in previous communications.
To activate your UTORid:
Follow this step-by-step guide as a First Time Users to ‘activate your UTORid’ link.
- Go to utoronto.ca
- Enter your JOINid + Secret Activation Key
- Set up your UTmail+ email address
- Set up your UTORid password reset and account management options
NB: Once you activate your UTORid and set up your email, all future emails will go to your UTmail+ email address.

You are issued a UofT UTmail+ account at the University of Toronto, when you activate your @mail.utoronto.ca email address. Your UTmail+ account is active for the duration of your academic enrolment at U of T.
