Here, Unilorin students confirm their admission status, register for their session/semester courses, check results, update their profile (e-mail), and pay the University charges. Student receives an e-mail alert on the status of their course registrations.

Your Login ID is your Matriculation Number or your JAMB Registration Number (if you don’t have Matriculation Number yet)

Unilorin Registration Procedure For Fresh Students

To be eligible for clearance as an admitted candidate the conditions set out by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and the University of Ilorin must be met. Applicants who are yet to apply should explore the list of courses/programmes offered at Unilorin amongst the top Universities in Nigeria.

JAMB Conditions

Candidate’s admission must have been approved on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Candidate must have accepted the offer of admission as approved by the JAMB.

How to Confirm Your Unilorin Admission Status

Fellow these procedures to check and confirm your admission status at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

  2. Locate Portals
  3. Tap on the Undergraduate
  4. Tap on the Admission Screening Login
  5. Enter your JAMB Registration Number as Login ID and Surname
  6. Tap on the login button
  7. Tap on the Check Admission Status to confirm your admission status.

Pay the Clearance Charge using your ATM Card within two weeks (supported ATM Cards on the Remita platform for university payments are Visa and Master Card)

Clearance Procedure

  • Upload your documents as required for admission clearance (Scratch Card/Token details for your O’ Level are required).
  • Wait for confirmation of clearance before you proceed to the next stage of registration.

Note:

Applicants who have been given admission should proceed with clearance and thereafter wait for announcements of the resumption of academic sessions before proceeding to the departments.

Unilorin Online Course Registration

To get started, go to your department and interact with your Level Adviser and/or HOD on the Courses to be registered.

  1. Login Unilorin Student Dashboard
  2. Update your bio-data
  3. You will be required to change your initial password from your surname to a confidential one. (In case you forget your password, use the password recovery function).
  4. Tap on the Course Registration to proceed with your Course registration
  5. Submit the filled form for the approval
  6. Upon the level adviser’s approval, print your preliminary Course Registration Form and ensure correctness.

Pay the appropriate University charges as provided in your portal (Some payment platforms may not recognize special characters such as; ,: , ”).

Failure to validate registered Courses with the Level Advisers before payment may attract extra charges for late add/drop forms to make amendment(s).

Registration Procedure For Returning Students

  1. Tap on the Undergraduate Portal
  2. Tap on Login button
  3. Login using your Matriculation Number as Login ID and your password (you will be prompted to change your password)

Note:

  • If you are in Good Standing or on Probation, Use Course Registration link and register for appropriate and relevant courses as defined by your Level Adviser. You are to register for courses that failed before adding current-level courses.
  • Print out the preliminary course registration form and present it to your Level Adviser, who should authenticate the courses you have selected before you make payment.
  • After authentication, return to your portal and complete registration as advised by your Level Adviser.
  • Charges applicable to you will be displayed.
  • Make online payment for the applicable charges using your Visa or MasterCard.

Important

  • Ensure that there is enough balance in your bank account(s).
  • Upon successful payment, print the Receipt of payment and four copies of the final Course Registration Form in color.
  • Forward the FOUR copies of the Form to your Level Adviser and Faculty Officer for appropriate signatures
  • Collect one copy as yours from the Faculty Office
  • Keep your copy safe as you would need it for your Examinations and final clearance on graduation.
