Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) Registration
Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform all Regional Directors to ensure that the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates register for the approved courses/subjects. WAEC has approved the final BECE timetable for 2025 candidates.
For the avoidance of doubt, the subjects to be registered are;
BECE Mandatory Subjects
- English Language
- Mathematics
- General Science
- Social Studies
- Religious and Moral Education
- Career Technology
- Creative Arts and Design.
BECE Elective Subject
- Ghanaian Language (Candidates are supposed to register for the Ghanaian Language they studied).
BECE Optional Subjects
- French
- Arabic
- Computing
Regional Directors are by this letter requested to communicate the above to their respective Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education for compliance.
