About Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA)
The vision of the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) is for South Africans to have confidence in the legitimacy, occupational practices, and transformation of the private security industry. Its mission is effective regulation of the Private Security Industry to enable professional and respected security service providers.
The primary objectives of the Authority are to regulate the private security industry and to exercise effective control over the practice of the occupation of security service providers in the public and national interest and the interest of the private security industry itself.

Here’s how to access and login PSiRA portal for new bookings, create an account, and activate and register online.

- Navigate to “New Booking”
- Fill in your details (all fields required*)
- Tap on “Register”
- An activation code will be sent to you
- Follow the link provided to activate your account
To log in to your new PSiRA account, use the username and temporary password supplied in the email or SMS. Change your password after the first login.
