The National Teaching Council – NTC has launched the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination, GTLE Ghana PortaPrep online examination Portal for Ghana Teachers. Besides, the NTC GTLE PortaPrep Test Portal is to aid teachers’ preparation for the licensure exams.
About the NTC GTLE PortaPrep
The Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination past questions portal known as PortaPrep has officially been opened for prospective teachers to take sample tests as well as access all past questions to prepare them for the GTLE.
The NTC PortaPrep Portal is to enable prospective teachers seeking to write the teacher licensure examination to practice adequately for the exams
It will enable the graduate teachers to practice how to answer the licensure questions to pass the exams.
The launch of the teacher licensure exams past questions portal was introduced after the mass failure recorded in previous NTC Exams after the release of the results of candidates.
The NTC Exams tests the proficiency of trained teacher in essential professional skills, and their literacy and numeracy.
Why the NTC GTLE PortaPrep Test Portal
This initiative comes after the National Students Association and Teacher Trainees’ have expressed worried about the mass failure of teachers in the Licensure Examination Results. Besides, the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has instructed the National Teaching Council – NTC to launch Test Prep Portal to serve as NTC Sample questions web portal.
