About the NECTA Result
NECTA (National Examinations Council of Tanzania) is responsible for conducting and managing national examinations in Tanzania, including the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE), Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE), and Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE). The results of these examinations are used to assess students’ academic performance and determine their eligibility for further studies or employment opportunities.
How to Check NECTA Result
Candidates are to access and check their NECTA Results online through the steps step produces outlined below:
- Visit NECTA’s official website at www.necta.go.tz
- Locate and tap on the Results link from the main menu bar
- Select your preferred Exam Type (Eg. CSEE)
- Select the year of your examination to display the results (e.g., 2024)
- Thereafter, the Results page will open for you to select your School
- Locate your index number and your CSSE Result to proceed
How to Check NECTA Results via SMS
All candidates must follow the procedures and check their NECTA Results on the phone using the SMS.
- Dial the USSD shortcode *152*00# on your phone
- Select option 8 – ELIMU
- Select the number 2 – NECTA
- Select service type 1 – MATOKEO
- Select Test Type – CSEE
- Enter your Examination Number and Year (Example: S0746-0446-2024)
- Select Payment Type (Cost per SMS is Tshs 100)
- A text message will be sent to your valid phone number with details of your result.
