The National Service Scheme (NSS) mandated by Act 426 (1980) is re-designing programmes to respond to the needs of the youth, User Agencies, tertiary training institutions, and national interest.
Therefore, with the introduction of the Central Services Management System (CSMS) during the 2018/2019 service year, to Strengthen the NSS Database and Revise Processes for Effective Deployment. Thus, this new system has been designed to harmonize key deployment processes of the Scheme which involve the collection of:
- Final year class list from training institutions;
- User Agencies requests for NSP;
- NSS Certificates; and
- Management of National Service Personnel (NSP) Data;
Further, with the information provided, all accredited training institutions and user agencies would be able to access the NSS portal.
When will the National Service Posting 2021?
The National Service Scheme – NSS deployment & Posting schedule is as follow;

Initially!!! The Acting University Relation Officer of the University of Energy and Natural Resources – UENR is proposing to the management to extend the 2021 National Service Personnel posting to September instead of August end.

Students are now preparing to write their end of semester examination which ends in October. Besides, final year students will have to complete their project and defend.
Therefore, he is calling on the management of the service to extend the letters of posting into September.
