How to Access the MUST Student Portal

To access and login Mbarara University of Science and Technology – MUST Student Portal, if you are a new student, your User ID is your Student Number and your Password is also your Student Number. If you are a continuing student, your User ID is your Registration Number (Access Number) and your password is also your Registration Number.

To login, let get started: 

1. Go to the MUST Website
2. Navigate down the home page
3. Move to Student Services
4. Tap on Student Portal

Mbarara University of Science and Technology Registration Instructions

The new student (Undergraduate): For registration, you must bring with you the following: –

1. Original Uganda Certificate of Education (both certificate and result slip) or equivalent plus three copies of it.
2. Original Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (certificate and result slip) or equivalent, plus three copies.
3. Three (3) colored passport-size photographs showing your current likeness (head and shoulders).
4. An Identity Card from your previous school/college plus a copy of it.
5. An original Birth Certificate and/or National ID plus a copy of it/them.
6. All International students shall be required to provide a comprehensive Life Assurance Cover for the duration of their study before registration.

The new student (Postgraduate): For registration, you must bring with you the following: –

1. Original Transcripts plus three certified copies of it.
2. Original Certificates plus three certified copies of it.
3. Original Uganda Certificate of Education and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Level Certificates and results or equivalent plus three copies of each.
4. Four (4) colored passport-size photographs showing your current likeness (head and shoulders).
5. For students in the clinical disciplines, evidence of registration with respective professional bodies and valid practicing license plus a certified copy of each
6. For qualifications attained outside Uganda, a certificate of equivalence from the Uganda National Examinations Board and/or Uganda National Council for Higher Education
7. A valid National Identity Card or Passport plus one copy of it
8. An original Birth Certificate and /or National ID plus one copy of it.
9. All International students shall be required to provide a comprehensive Life Assurance Cover for the duration of their study before registration.

How to Login MUST Student AIMS Portal

Follow the step to can access the Students’ Academic Information Management System (AIMS)

Payment procedure

1. Access Student Portal via https://student.must.ac.ug
2. Activate Student’s Account in AIMS
3. Enter your login credentials
4. Tap on the Get a Payment Reference Button
5. Select the option of Depositing money in the student’s account for future Invoices

Alternatively,

6. Select New Student (My First Semester)and Year 1 under Enrolment Option
7. Tap ENROL button

Invoice(s) for the current semester will be created and you can select which invoice(s) you wish to pay.

8. Enter the amount of money
9. Tap on Generate Reference Button
10. Print or Copy the Zeepay Ref Number and the amount on the invoice, and make payment through any Commercial Bank or use Mobile Money and Airtel Money options.

Money is paid to Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Collection account. Payment Reference Numbers expire after 48 hours.

 Important

1. All deposits must be made in Ugandan Shillings Currency.
2. The University allows payment of fees in installments but for a student to be registered, must pay at least pay Functional Fees, NCHE fees, and ID fees. The amount is indicated on the admission letter
3. All fees MUST be deposited through any Commercial Bank or use Mobile Money and Airtel Money.
