MIU Admission Requirements
Bachelors Programme/Courses
- A minimum of Two (2) Principle Passes in the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent. And should have obtained at least five (5) Passes in the Uganda Certificate of Education in one sitting or its equivalent.
Diploma Programmes/Courses
- The minimum requirement is One (1) Principle Pass in the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education in the subjects relevant to the programme applied for. And should have obtained at least five (5) Passes in the Uganda Certificate of Education in one sitting or it’s equivalent.
Certificate Programmes/Courses
- At least three (3) Passes in the Uganda Certificate of Education in one sitting or its equivalent.

How to Apply for Metropolitan International University
Here are the steps on how to apply via the admission Portal to become a student of the Metropolitan International University
- Explore the MIU Admission Portal
- Enter your First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name
- Provide your Email Address and Phone Number
- Select your Gender, Date of Birth and Country of Birth
- Select Preferred Programmes/Courses
- Select the application you want to enroll for (Freshman (First time at University, Undergraduate Transfer, Former Student Returning (FSR), and 2nd Bachelor’s Degree)
- if sponsored, select your Sponsorship ( University Bursary, Self Sponsorship, and Other Sponsorship)
- Select Prefered Intake (January Intake, May Intake, and August Intake)
- Select the Preferred Session of study (Day session, Evening session, Weekend session, In service, and E-learning)
- Enter your UCE Score
- Fill in Your UACE Score
- Provide ID/NIN/Passport Number
- Confirm to understand and agree to the terms listed above.
- Tap on Submit Your Application Button to Proceed
NB: You can upload your validation documents in PDF or Doc file format as requested below: (All documents must be well scanned and clear to read). For Identification documents, a National ID (For Ugandans) or a valid Passport (For International students) is required.
