Candidates who selected Maritime Academy of Nigeria as their First (1st) Choice Institution in the 2024 UTME and scored above the required cut-off mark as stated in (2) below are eligible for post-UTME registration.

- Marine Engineering -175
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering -175
- Maritime Transport and Business Studies – 160

Candidates seeking admission into the Maritime Academy of Nigeria must have a functional and accessible electronic mail (e-mail) address and mobile phone number for correspondence.
Candidates are not required to present themselves physically except on invitation through the Website Publication and e-mail/text messages.

Applicants must possess Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent with at least FIVE (5) CREDIT passes in O/Level subjects, which must include:
- Mathematics
- English Language,
- Physics
- Geography, and
- Any other related science subjects obtained within the last five (5) years in NOT more than two sittings.
