Eligibility

• Candidate must have scored a minimum of 195 marks in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations.

Eligibility for First Choice Candidates:

• Applicants who’ve selected Lagos State University as their primary institution of choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have achieved a score of at least 195 marks are qualified to participate in the Online Admission Screening Exercise.
• Furthermore, these applicants should be at least 16 years of age.

For Pre Degree Studies (PDS) Graduates:

• All students from the Pre Degree Studies (PDS) programme who’ve successfully concluded their studies and aim for admission into Lagos State University for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, having selected the institution as their primary choice during the 2025 UTME, and achieved a score of at least 195 marks, are eligible for the Online Admission Screening Exercise.

Direct Entry Candidates:

• All candidates, inclusive of those from the LASU Foundation (JUPEB), seeking admission into Lagos State University for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, and have procured the Direct Entry Form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), are also eligible.
• This is contingent upon them choosing Lagos State University as their primary institution.

Note: Only diplomas from LASU are deemed acceptable for Direct Entry (DE) admission, with the exception of NCE into the Faculty of Education Programmes.

2. Locate the Navigation Tap on top of the Homepage
3. Locate and tap on Student
4. Thereafter, Under Student Locat, Tap on New Applicant to Proceed
5. Under New Applicant, locate a Tap on UTME/DE Screening
6. Locate and Tap on UTME CANDIDATE LOGIN
7. Done

How to Apply for LASU Post-UTME Screening Form

Follow this comprehensive step to apply for the Post UTME Screening Form at Lagos State University.

1. Access the LASU Post-UTME Screening Form
2. Enter your UTME REGISTRATION NUMBER, SURNAME
3. Tap on SUBMIT.
4. Tap the “Make Payment (Admission Screening)” button.
5. On the Payment Page:
6. Input Jamb Registration Number
7. Choose “Admission Screening Fee” for Description
8. Select “Ojo” for Campus
9. Choose “Student” for Category
10. After successful payment, return to your dashboard.
11. Tap Start Admission Screening.
12. Your basic bio-data will appear. Choose either REGULAR STUDENT ADMISSION SCREENING or REGULAR STUDENT WITH ENTREPRENEURSHIP ADMISSION SCREENING from the “Type of Screening” drop-down.
13. Provide the Transaction ID used for payment.
14. Complete the application and print a copy of the Temporary Self-Screening Report.
15. If updates or corrections are needed, candidates can follow the above procedure again.

• That payment will be required for subsequent screening attempts.
• Note: All screened candidates must access their Admission Screening Portal to print their Final Self-Screening Report.
