INEC CVR Voters Online Registration and Verification Portal

Access INEC Voter Verification System via cvr.inecnigeria.org to check your name on the voters register status and confirm the location of your polling unit where you will vote on Election Day. You can check your voter status by entering your details in the form on this page.

Information for All Eligible Voters

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the exercise of its powers under Section 40(2) of the Electoral Act, 2022 has allotted voters from overcrowded polling units to less congested polling units within the exact location to promote a more pleasant and stressful free voting experience on Election Day.

Furthermore, the list of registered voters in the 176,846 polling units nationwide will be on display at each polling unit before Election Day.

Eligible voters are encouraged to visit their polling units to check for their name on the register and confirm the location of their polling unit where they will vote on Election Day.

INEC General Election and Voting Procedures

  1. Voting Starts at 8:30 am
  2. Check and be sure your name is on the register of voters in that Polling Unit
  3. Once accredited you will be issued a ballot paper
  4. You can leave or stay 300 meters away from the voting area to witness vote sorting and counting
  5. Present your PVC for accreditation using BVAS
  6. Get authenticated with the BVAS through finger-print or facials
  7. Go to the voting cubicle to make your choice in secret and drop the marked ballot paper in the ballot box

  3. Choose Local Government
  4. Input your First and Last name
  5. Date of Birth
  6. Tick Security Check
  7. Tap on the Check Status

How to Check INEC Voters’ Registration Status

You can check your voter registration status by accessing the INEC Voters register. Use your Voter’s Identification Number (VIN) or your name and date of birth to locate your registration.
