Here’s a comprehensive step-by-step guide to configuring the GES-MIS School App for Basic Schools. Login and Access Data Submission.

  1. Launch the GES-MIS School App after installation.
  2. Log in to the app using your credentials (Username: Admin, Password: Admin)
  3. Click on Data Submission
  4. Select Verify School Code
  5. Enter your school code (MS Code)
  6. Click on Verify, and confirm the school details that appear on the screen.
  7. If the details match your school, click Yes, it is my school and confirm.
  8. An SMS with a verification code will be sent to your phone. Check your phone for the SMS.
  9. Go to School Identification in the app.
  10. Fill out the form, including the verification code received via SMS
  11. Click Save Changes to complete this step. Configure Classes
  12. Navigate to School Manager
  13. Click on Classes, then select Manage Classes.

Configure Single vs. Multiple Streams

Single Stream Schools: No action is required; class configuration is pre-set

Multiple Stream Schools

  1. Rename each class by clicking on the class name
  2. Enter the new class name (e.g., 1A, 1B, etc.) and press Enter to save
  3. Specify the grade (e.g., Basic 1 is B1, Basic 2 is B2).

For each class, ensure the Level is selected correctly (e.g., Lower Level, Middle Level, etc.).

After configuring the existing classes, you can add new classes if needed. Ensure all newly added classes are properly renamed, graded, and leveled.

  1. Save changes after every configuration step.
