UFH Online Application
Every prospective student shall apply for admission to a programme offered by the University of Fort Hare on the prescribed form or through the UFH Online Application Portal. The form of application must be completed in detail and signed by the prospective student and his/her parent or guardian if he/she is a minor.
A student who was registered at another university must, upon application for admission to the University of Fort Hare, submit a certificate of conduct from the aforementioned university, which is acceptable to the Council of the University of Fort Hare.
The closing date for applications for admission shall be published on the UFH website. A late application fee will be payable for applications received after that date.
How to Check UFH Application Status Online
How do I check my status on the UFH student ienabler? Here’s what to do:
- Go to www.ufh.ac.za
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see the Online Services button
- Tap to access UFH Student Enabler
- Login using your Student Number and PIN (If you have forgotten your Pin, click on Forgot Pin, and a new pin will be sent to the cell number that you filled in when you applied) you created when applying online.
- Navigate to Student Enquiry at the left of the drop-down menu.
- Tap on Application Information on the Top right
Congratulations, your UFH application status will be displayed. Apply for NSFAS funding online.
Reset your UFH Student Number and PIN
- Applicants who have forgotten their UFH Pin, click on Forgot Pin, and a new pin will be sent to the cell number that you filled in when you applied.
- If you have forgotten your student number, you will be required to enter your ID number, and this will also be sent to your number.
- If you used hard copy applications and not online applications, put in the student number that you received via email or SMS, click on forgotten Pin and this will be sent through to your cell number.
UFH Online Registration of Courses
A prospective student must first be admitted to study at the University of Fort Hare per the entry requirements and admission point scores before he/she may register; he/she must supply proof of such admittance at registration.
The UFH shall not be obliged to register a prospective student even though he/she has been admitted to the University; the student must also comply with the requirements of registration.
Before commencing their studies in any year prospective students shall register for residence and as students of the University online via UFH Student Portal.
Except with the Registrar’s written permission, no person who is in arrears with the payment of any fees due to the University shall be registered as a student.
