How to check Student Finance application status

Once you’ve applied for the student finance application via www.studentfinance.com/uk, you’ll want to keep up to date with the progress of how to check the student finance application status. You will need to do this to keep you up to date when after you create a student finance login.

How to check Student Finance application status

Access the student finance login page
Enter your email address and password
Click on the “Continue” button to sign in.
Select undergraduate student finance applications
Select the application you want to track
Then you get your application summary page
You can track everything from when you submit your application to when you receive payments
Before you track your application, make sure to complete any outstanding actions.
Once you submit your application, you’ll be able to view the status tracker
The trackers will change as your application progress
It takes 6 to 8 weeks to process your application in full; don’t contact the student Finance office during student finance processing time. They will rather email you when they need any update from you or to you.
If your application is approved, the tracker will move to “confirming all details”
Your status will sometimes change when you have started your course and the student Finance office has received confirmation of registration/enrolment from your university or college.
Once your application is approved you’ll be able to see the “view payments” button
Once your university or college confirms your registration, the tracker will move to “Receiving payments”
The student Finance office will contact you when your payment is due or you check it through your student finance account.
Once you’ve received your payments and when the application for the next academic year opens, the tracker moves to “Prepare for next year”
