How to Check Your KCPE Result on Phone via SMS Code
Candidates will get results on their phones by sending their index number followed by the word KCPE to the code 40054. There will be an SMS charge.
- Open the Messages App on your phone
- Start a New Chat
- Enter your 11-digit KCPE Number followed by the word KCPE, (for example, 50167345023KCPE). Do not leave spaces in the index number and the word KCPE.
- Send to the SMS Number 40054
- You will receive a text message from KNEC with your results shortly.
NB: The SMS T&C applies per message sent across all networks.
How to Check Your KCPE Result Online

- Go to the KNEC Portal
- Navigate to Primary Schools (KCPE)
- Tap Online Result Slip
