The Ghana Education Service (GES) teacher’s promotion examination results are now accessible online through the Management Information System (GESMIS) portal.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) management is pleased to inform all teaching staff that the promotion test results have been released. Successful teachers will be promoted to various ranks under the Ghana Education Service (GES).
Candidates who have not yet been onboarded to the GESMIS Portal may Reset Password to obtain a temporary login credential and check their results.
Steps to Check GES Promotion Results

- Go to https://gesmis.org/
- Login with your Username and Password (Learn to create a GESMIS account)
- Click on Check Promotion Results
Well done! Your results will be displayed to view.
How to Reset GESMIS Password
For candidates who have forgotten or need to reset their GESMIS password to obtain login credentials, here’s a step to follow;
- Go to the GESMIS Login Page
- Tap on Reset Password
- Enter your Staff Number
- Tap on the Reset Password button
A temporary login credential will be set up for you to access the GESMIS Portal.
