Get ready to vote, your vote matters in the South Africa 2024 Elections, and so does your voting location. Before you vote, check your voter registration info at the IEC Voter Portal to ensure you vote at the correct station. You must vote where you are registered. Don’t forget your SA ID.
Check the Status of your IEC Notification to Vote at Another Voting Station (S24A)
To find out the status of your notification to vote at another voting station (Section 24A).
- Go to the IEC Voter Portal
- Enter your 13-digit South African Identity Number
- Click on the Check Now button.
Voting at another station (where not registered):
If you applied to vote at another station (Section 24A) check the confirmation SMS or email from the IEC Voter Portal for your voting station info.
If you didn’t apply to vote at another voting station (Section 24A) on election day, you MUST vote where you are registered. You will not be allowed to vote at any other voting station in terms of the new law.
