How to Change Your Student Finance Application

Get the steps on how to change your student Finance application, It can take up to 6 weeks to approve any changes to your student finance application, so it’s important to make any changes straight away.

How to Change Your Student Finance Application

Access the student finance login
Enter your login details and sign in
Select “undergraduate student finance application”
Select the application you want to change
The application summary page will be displayed
You can track your application, provide evidence, check payments, and make changes
To make changes, click on “view and manage your applications” under the “manage your student finance” heading to proceed
To change your application, click on “change your application” to proceed
Click on “Expand” on the application you want to change
Scroll to the bottom of your application
You can view your entitlement, change your application, apply for additional support, or cancel your application.
Click on “Change your application”
You get your change application page
Click on “university/college and courses”
To make a change, you’ll need information about your chosen university/college and the course
It’s important to know any changes you make will mean the student finance will need to reassess your application
You can now make changes to your university/college and course details
With the help of the search function, type the name of your university/college
Using the search function, type the name of your new course
If your course details don’t appear, you should check with your university or college
Confirm the year of the course you you’re entering and click on continue.
Confirm where you will spend the most time during the academic year.
Confirm where you will be living during the term time
If your living location will change, this could affect the amount of student finance you’re entitled to.
You should review all changes to make sure they’re up-to-date and accurate.
Check and submit your changes
You will receive confirmation your changes have been submitted
These can take up to 6 weeks to process,
Once they have re-assessed your application, they will update your application summary.
Your status tracker might not update until they have processed the changes.
