About GHRIS Online Payslip Portal
The Government Human Resource Information System (GHRIS) is a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) developed by the Government of Kenya (GoK).
The main objective of GHRIS is to provide a One-Stop-Shop HRIS for the management of all Human Resource (HR) aspects in Government. It is aimed at providing a “from entry to post-exit” centralized, web-based, self-service information system for HR managers and individual employees.
GHRIS Serves the Following:
- Ministries and State Departments
- Uniformed Services
- State Corporations and Semi-Autonomous Government Agencies (SAGAs)
- Counties (both Executive and Assembly)
- Constitutional Commissions and Independent Offices
- Third-Party Organisations (e.g. Banks, SACCOS, Micro-Finance Institutions, Insurance Companies, Pensions Schemes)

- Current GOK Employees should Login here with their credentials
- Enter your User ID and Password
- Tap Login button
- New Employees to Register for an Account
GOK Employees Payslip Online Registration Form
To register for an account, note that the information will be validated against your record in the Ministry/Department. In case of disparities, contact the HRM Unit in your Ministry/Department.
- Use this form to register in the GHRIS system
- Fill out the online form with the following details
- Personal Number
- National ID Card Number
- KRA PIN
- Surname
- First Name
- Other Names
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Date of First Appointment
- Terms of Service (e.g. ESP-consolidated Pay)
- Enter your Mobile Number and Personal Email
- Create your Password and re-enter to confirm
- Tap the Submit button

How to Download Payslip via the GHRIS Portal
Here’s how GoK employees download their monthly payslips online via GHRIS. Let’s get started:
- Access the Public Service Payroll Portal
- Enter your User ID and Password
- Tap Login button
- Access the MSPS Online Service Dashboard
- Tap on My Records
- Select My Payslip from the dropdown menu
- Tap on the Current Payslip
- Proceed to View, Download, and Print your Payslip

To reset and manage your forgotten password, let go:

- Create a new password and re-enter to confirm
