The Ghana Prisons Service (GPS) wishes to inform the General Public that the Prisons Recruitment Exercise which was advertised to the Public on Wednesday, 7th August this year, has moved to the next stage with the invitation of successful candidates for Body Selection, Documentation and Medical Examination.
The Body Selection will entail assessing the Physical Suitability of the Candidate, whiles the Documentation will involve Physical Inspection of Birth and Academic Certificates.
Medical Examination for Candidates who are successful in the Body Selection and Documentation will follow immediately.
The Body Selection, Documentation and Medical Examination for the Candidates who have been invited will commence on Monday, 11th November, 2024 at the Prisons Officers’ Training School (POTS), Roman Ridge Accra.
All successful candidates are to take note that they will bear the cost of the Medical Examination.
The GPS wishes to caution the unsuccessful candidates in particular and the public in general against making payments to any person (s) demanding money under the pretext of assisting them to be recruited.
Key details of the next stage include:
- Body Selection: Candidates will undergo an assessment to verify physical suitability.
- Documentation: Candidates’ birth and academic certificates will be physically inspected.
- Medical Examination: Candidates who pass the Body Selection and Documentation will proceed to Medical Examination, beginning on Monday, 11th November 2024 at the Prisons Officers’ Training School (POTS) in Roman Ridge, Accra.
