Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) releases shortlisted applicants for medicals Examination

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has officially released the list of shortlisted applicants for medical examination 2021/2022. The GNFS has started calling applicants who Apply GNFS Portal, gone through all these process and successfully qualified for the medical examination stage of the recruitment.

Besides, all shortlisted applicants who pass the GNFS Aptitude Test will be contacted only via telephone calls (Mobile Phone) for medical examinations. This communiqué has been officially released here

Date for GNFS Medical Examination

  • The medicals start on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the Accra College of Education, Madina near UPSA.
  • The cost of the medicals is Gh¢ 800.00

Applicants are to note that this stage of the recruitment exercise is crucial, hence this is done in batches. Therefore, shortlisted candidates are advised to exercise patience, since they will be called when their time is due.

Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Appointment

This stage of the recruitment process will invite the final applicants who pass the medical examination to receive an appointment letter and a prospectus that captured the list of items required for training.

Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Training Duration

The Ghana National Fire Service Training Duration is Six (6) months of mandatory cadet training. Upon satisfactory completion of the training, you would be appointed to applicable rank based on your educational certificates.

Meanwhile, should it be discovered at any point, before training, during training, appointment, probation, or after confirmation that you gave, or have given false information or presented false documents or withheld any relevant information, you may be dismissed without trial and possibly be prosecuted for the offense.
