Ghana Immigration Service Moves to Next Phase of 2024 Recruitment Process

The recruitment process for the Ghana Immigration Service in 2024 has reached the body selection, document assessment, and medical screening stage.

The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has announced that its 2024 recruitment process has advanced to the next stage, involving Body Selection, Document Assessment, and Medical Screening. This follows the recruitment exercise advertised to the public on August 7, 2024.

In this phase, successful candidates will undergo Body Selection, where their physical suitability for the role will be assessed. Document Assessment will involve a thorough inspection of each candidate’s birth and academic certificates to verify eligibility and credentials. Candidates who pass these initial assessments will proceed directly to a Medical Examination.

The next phase of the exercise is set to begin on Monday, November 11, 2024. GIS emphasized that only those who previously applied for the recruitment exercise will be considered for this stage.

The venue for the Body Selection and Document Assessment will be provided directly to candidates as they are contacted by GIS.

Candidates who complete all stages and meet the recruitment criteria may be appointed to serve, subject to enlistment procedures.

Procedures for Next Stage

  • Body Selection will involve screening candidates’ physical suitability, while Documentation will involve physically inspecting Birth and Academic Certificates.
  • Medical Examination for successful candidates in the Body Selection and Documentation will follow immediately.
  • The exercise commences on Monday, 11th November, 2024.
  • It is important to emphasize that only candidates who were able to apply are the candidates.
  • The venue for the exercise will be communicated to candidates when contacted.
  • Candidates who meet the requirements and are subsequently selected may be appointed (upon enlistment) and given the style of assisting them to be recruited.
