The management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) will from Monday, November 22, 2021 begins to educate parents, teachers, immediate BECE graduates, and the general public on how to select school, check school placement via the CSSPS placement checker.
The 2021 BECE Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) across the country before the WAEC releases the BECE results. Besides, in reference to the earlier release on the new reforms made to the BECE school selection and placement list and procedures, hence there is a need to sets a date for school selection training and placement sensitization programmes 2021.
Management further explained that officials from GES headquarters in Accra, CSSPS and Free Senior High School Secretariat will be deployed to all the Regions to help conduct the training exercise.
Conclusion
The GES official similarly urged parents and guardians of the 2021 BECE for School graduates to take a keen interest in the selection of schools process to ensure a smooth SHS placement of the Junior High School (JHS) graduates.
Meanwhile the Management of the service is considering releasing Infographics, flyers, and short videos in nine Ghanaian Languages about the process for the 2021 BECE graduates to better understand the Senior High Schools (SHS) selection exercise.
