GES Recruitment and Promotion Portal

The Management of the Ghana Education Service will announce the information to the general public about GES recruitment Portal.

Eligible Applicants must:

  • Completed and passed the Public Colleges of Education Examinations or any accredited tertiary institution (University Graduate)
  • Passed their NTC licensure exams
  • Completed the mandatory National Service
  • Applied for recruitment into the Service

How to Buy GES eVoucher

Applicants can purchase an eVoucher using their mobile money wallet via GES Promotions Portal at a charge of (GH¢ 10.00). Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Browse gespromotions.gov.gh
  2. Purchase eVoucher code online
  3. Select your Mobile Network (eg MTN Mobile Money)
  4. Enter your ten (10) digit mobile number
  5. Input your valid email address
  6. Tap Submit and wait for approval
  7. Check your phone to confirm the transaction
  8. Copy the Voucher Code sent via SMS (eg. ZXWHUDTXSJTYK)

GES Posting Portal

When the Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially released posting and appointment letters for both newly trained teachers, graduate and teachers on study leave with pay in the Ghana Education Service. Successful applicants can access the appointment letter on the GES Promotions Portal via www.gespromotions.gov.gh (a fee of GH 10.00 applies)

How to Check GES Posting

Here are the step-by-step procedures on how to check your GES Posting and print your appointment letter.

  1. Browse Portal URL: https://gespromotions.gov.gh/ to access your postings
  2. Follow these simple steps to buy your GES eVoucher
  3. Pay GH¢ 10.00 via Mobile Money
  4. Print out your posting letter or Save it as a PDF
  5. Submit it to the Regional Education Office where you have been posted before reporting to your school.

Appointees are to report to the Regional Directors with their appointment letters and certificates for further directives.

Steps to Login and Check GES Promotions Results

  1. Visit GES Promotions Portal
  2. Navigate to the Homepage
  3. Click on eVoucher Card and Select Promotions
  4. Enter Staff ID to confirm Staff’s promotion
  5. Fill in the appropriate details for payment
  6. Proceed to the Promotions Result Page and select your Staff Type, enter your Staff ID and eVoucher number to view and print your promotion letter.

Steps to Check GES Recruitment List

  1. Visit GES Promotions Portal
  2. Navigate to the Homepage
  3. Click on eVoucher Card & Select Recruitment
  4. Fill in the appropriate details for payment
  5. Proceed to the Recruitment Result Page and Enter your Index Number and eVoucher number to view and print your appointment letter.
