The Federal University of Health Sciences Azare (FUHSA) offers diverse courses catering to the health sciences field. These courses cover various disciplines and provide students with a comprehensive understanding of their chosen fields.
FUHSA offers undergraduate programs in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, and Physiotherapy. In addition, the university provides postgraduate programmes at the master’s and doctoral levels, allowing students to specialize further and advance their knowledge in their respective fields.

NUC Approved New Courses for FUHSA
The National University Commission has approved new Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, Bauchi (NUC) courses. The commission stated this in a letter addressed to the JAMB registrar.
“I am directed to convey to the Registrar the Executive Secretary’s approval for the establishment of the following programmes in Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, Bauchi State, having satisfied the requirements for their establishment with effect from the 2024/2025 academic session:
- MBBS – Medicine & Surgery
- BDS – Dentistry and Dental Surgery
- B.NSc – Bachelor of Nursing Science.
- B.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics.
- B.Rad – Bachelor of Radiography.
