This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into degree programmes of the Federal University, Gashua for the 2024/2025 Academic Session that online screening will commence.

FUGASHUA Post-UTME Eligibility

1. UTME candidates who have scored 140 and above; and Direct Entry candidates who have chosen Federal University Gashua as First Choice with Distinction, Credit, or merit in NCE, IJMB (6 points & above), Upper Credit in National Diploma (ND), HND lower credit and above are eligible for the online screening.
2. Candidates should visit the Federal University, Gashua website: fugashua.edu.ng (portal link) and register for the online screening exercise.

How to Apply for the FUGASHUA Post-UTME/DE Screening Form

Follow this comprehensive step to apply for the Federal University Gashua, Yobe State Post UTME Screening Registration Form.

1. Access the FUGASHUA Post-UTME Screening Form
2. Locate and Tap on register to create an account.
3. Fill out the opened form to create UTME/DE screening accounts.
   1. JAMB number
   2. First name
   3. Surname
   4. Choose entry mode (UTME/DE)
   5. Email Address (Username)
   6. Password must contain Upper case and numbers.
4. Tap register account
5. A confirmation link will be sent to your email. Tap the confirm email button to redirect you to the payment page.
6. Payment options:
   1. Bank
      1. Tap Pay Icon
      2. Print the invoice (R invoice) and make your payment
   2. ATM Payment Option:
      1. Tap Pay icon
      2. Select Card type (Master card, Verve card, etc.)
      3. Enter your phone number (that you receive alerts with)
      4. Upon confirmation, Click Proceed.
      5. On unified payment-Enter card details and click OK.
      6. Authentication SMS will be sent to your phone.
      7. Enter the OTP number received and click submit.
7. After making the payment, log in to the site with your username (email address/JAMB number) and password.
8. Continue with your registration.
9. First, you will be redirected to the course selection page, where you will be required to provide the following:
   1. UTME first choice
   2. UTME second choice
   3. UTME subject combination
   4. UTME score
10. Next, you will be redirected to a biodata form. Ensure to fill in all the required fields. Upload a recent passport photograph, save it, and tap on next.
11. Here, you will be required to provide Five (5) relevant O-level credits, including Mathematics and English, at not more than two sittings. You can always go back to update your O’ level results in case your result is being awaited.
12. In the next step, you must provide details of previous institutions attended with qualifications obtained. DE students should ensure to provide the grades obtained from any post-secondary school attended.
13. Next, you will be redirected to the documents upload page, where you will upload scanned copies of your certificates and results.
14. Tap Submit and confirm submission.
15. The message “Application Submitted Successfully”, It Cannot Be Altered. Thanks” will be displayed upon completion.
16. You will not be invited for physical screening or aptitude tests; you will be notified once admitted through your CAPS.
