Eligibility
- Candidates who chose The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro as their 1st choice and whose score is not below 150 in the 2025 UTME.
- Candidates who did not choose The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro but are ready and able to effect a change of Institution to make The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro their First Choice Institution.3.
- Candidates who complete the Screening Form Online follow the procedure in (1.4) below:
General Requirement
- (National Diploma not below Lower Credit (with CGPA not less than 2.50) and basic requirements for the National Diploma Programme in the applicant’s discipline;
- Possession of the specific SSSCE requirements i.e. WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/GCE O’Level, for the programme for which the candidate is applying.
- Good performance in the Screening exercise to be conducted by the Polytechnic.
- Minimum of One Calendar Year Post National Diploma Relevant Industrial Experience.
- Candidate’s National Diploma academic transcript should be sent by the ND awarding Institution for Candidates who did not finish from The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro under Confidential Cover to The Registrar, The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro. ADMITTED CANDIDATES SHALL NOT BE REGISTERED BEFORE THE RECEIPT OF THE ND ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT
How to Apply for Admission
The following are step-by-step instructions for accessing and applying for admission at Federal Polytechnic Ilaro.
- Log on to www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng
- Tap on “Portal “ on the main menu
- Scroll down to “New Application.”
- Tap on the “Generate Invoice” button.
- To generate your invoice, fill in your Name and other details (as you have them on your credentials) and select your programme of study.
- Proceed to the Bank with the invoice generated. Pay at the Bank and obtain RRR NUMBER
- Return to the Portal, repeat steps 1-3 above, and tap the “Fill Application Form” button.
- Enter the RRR NUMBER obtained from the Bank
- Complete the Application Form.
Scan and Upload the following : - UTME notification of result slip
- O’Level Result(s) for candidates not awaiting their result(s).
- All Awaiting Result candidates should indicate their year of Examination and Registration Number and put (AR) in the columns provided for this purpose. They should, however, upload their results when available.
- Confirm and submit. Print a copy of the Acknowledgement Slip.
