Education Minister confirms new date for 2021 BECE Results

The Minister of Education (MoE), Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum in an interview confirmed that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has set a date to release the 2021 BECE Results after all these procedures are complete.

BECE Results Release Date 2021

The Minister of Education in an interview on Monday stated officially that WAEC has assured the Ministry that the 2021 BECE results will be released by the end of February.

In a statement;

“The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) says we should expect the release of the results of candidates who sat for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) last year by the end of February. Therefore, WAEC has assured the Ministry of Education (MoE) it will be out within February”

When Will BECE Results 2021 be Released

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is set to release the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results by the end of February 2022.
The BECE results will be out within the next 21 days followed by the release of the BECE Placements in March and subsequently for BECE 2021 candidates to proceed to SHS on April 4, 2022.

This was also made known in an interview with the Minister of Education;

“After WAEC has released the results, we will take up to two months to work on the placement of the candidates to enable them report to school on April 4, 2022”
