ECZ Verification of Results
The Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) will verify results for candidates that are applying for the 2022 Teacher Recruitment at a subsidized rate of Ten Kwacha (K10) per Applicant.
This is in recognition of the fact that most applicants have been out of employment for long periods and may therefore have difficulties meeting the normal Verification Fee of One Hundred Kwacha (K100) per copy. Applicants are therefore required to pay the Non- Refundable Fee of Ten Kwacha (K10) and attach the evidence of payment to the application before they submit it to ZAMPOST Offices.
How to Make ECZ Verification Payment Using Mobile Money
To make payment, applicants must use the following procedure on their mobile phone, which provides options for Zamtel Kwacha, MTN Money, and Airtel Money:
A. ZAMTEL KWACHA
You need a cell phone or tablet with a ZAMTEL Kwacha registered SIM card
- Dial *115#
- Select (option 6) Merchant Payment
- Select (option 3) Examinations Council of Zambia
- Enter Applicant’s NRC (e.g 123456/11/1)
- Enter Amount – 10
- Enter Pin
- Print the message and attach it to the Application Form

B. MTN Mobile Network
You need a cell phone or tablet with an MTN Money registered SIM card.
- Dial *305#
- Select (option 2) Pay ECZ
- Select (option 2) Results Verification Fee
- Enter Applicant’s NRC (e.g 123456/11/1)
- Confirm to proceed
- Enter MTN Mobile Money PIN
AIRTEL Mobile Network
You need a cell phone or tablet with an Airtel Money registered SIM card.
- Dial *115#
- Select (option 4) Make Payment
- Select (option 7) School Fees
- Select (option 1) School Pay (From School Pay)
- You will get a message to access Schoolpay
- “Redirection to Schoolpay”
- Select (option 2) Pay ECZ
- Select (option 2) Results Verification Fee
- Enter Applicant’s NRC (e.g. 123456/11/1)
- Confirm payment details
- Authorize transactions with mobile money Pin
How to Download ECZ Payment Receipt via SchoolPay Portal
For proof of payment on options 2 (a) and 2 (b), either print the message or download the receipt via the portal as outlined below:
- Visit https://schoolpay.co.zm
- Select Pay ECZ
- Select Get Receipt
- Select Results Verification Fee from the dropdown menu
- Enter NRC as a reference
- Download
Applicants do not need to submit verified results, however, attach evidence of payment of the Ten Kwacha (K10) verification fee to the STA FORM1.
Leave the space for the ECZ CODE on the STA FORM1 blank.
