Discover how you check Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) Grade 9 results using your mobile phone and learn how to download an e-statement of results online via the ECZ Web OCRS Portal.

Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) candidates who sat for the 2024 Grade 9 exams can now check their results on the phone or access and view their e-statement online via the ECZ Web Portal known as Junior Secondary School Leaving Examination (JSSLE).

How to Download Grade 9 E-Statement of Results Online

The ECZ Web Portal, through the e-Statements of results system, allows candidates to view and print their Grade 9 results online. Here are the steps to follow;

Explore https://eservices.exams-council.org.zm/
Tap on the E-Statement of Results
Tap on Candidate Sign-In
Access the ECZ OCRS Portal
Select the LEVEL you wish to check results for in the dropdown box
Tap on the Continue button
Enter the Candidate’s Examination Number in the provided textbox
Tap on the Continue button

The results will be displayed showing all the details of the candidate and school

Tap on Print Statement of Results
A PDF document of your ECZ Grade 9 e-statement of results will be generated in a new tab within the browser.

If you get a message saying, the statement of results has been successfully generated BUT the statement is not shown in the browser, you need to enable pop-ups in your web browser. In that case, you will be required to redo the process from step 6.

How to Check ECZ Grade 9 Results Using USSD Code

Candidates can check for the 2024 grade 9 results using their Mobile Phone through the following procedure;

Open the Message Chat on your Mobile Phone
Enter your Full Examination Number (Leave Space)
Enter Examination Year (Leave Space)
Enter Examination Grade
Send to 8383

The SMS Service is available on ZAMTEL, MTN, and AIRTEL at a cost of Zambian kwacha for each successful transmission.

ECZ Grade 9 Certificate

To qualify for the award of the JSSLE Certificate, a candidate must satisfy the minimum requirements of passes in six (6) subjects.
The Certificate obtained at this level is a pre-requisite for eligibility to register for the examination at Grade 12. The JSSLE Certificate is a requirement for a candidate to undertake registration for the Grade 12 examination.
