GES Scheme of Learning
The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment – NaCCA in collaboration with the Ministry of Education -MoE with support from the Ghana Education Service – GES has developed a new curriculum for Basic schools known as Standard Based Curriculum (SBC) and for JHS known as Common Core Programme (CCP).
Besides, in every academic year, teachers prepare a yearly scheme of learning or a termly scheme of learning that gives teachers smooth teaching and learning throughout the academic year.
GES Weekly Lesson Plan
According to the GES code of conduct, a teacher shall prepare relevant and adequate teaching notes for his/her work in advance. It shall be the responsibility of the head of the institution to see to it that it is done.
Therefore, teachers are to submit lesson notes on weekly basis starting for week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4, week 5, week 6, week 7, week 8, week 9, week 10, week 11, and week 12 for vetting.
